Stephen and the Colberts is a fictional band whose lead singer was Stephen Colbert from The Colbert Report. Stephen and the Colberts would have been popular in the 80s as part of the New Wave movement. Charlene (I'm Right Behind You) is about an ex-girlfriend who Stephen continues to stalk to this day.
