Default Good Post

I did this last night. One note, check the Duracell display for a coupon that says, "Free 12 oz Herbal Essence shampoo or conditioner with the purchase of 8pack of AA/AAA batteries or 4 pack of C/D batteries".

You basically get the shampoo for free and both it and the batteries count toward your five items. The coupon is limited to once per checkout, so buy 3 sets of 5 and checkout at the self-checkout lane. Scan your first five items, then the coupon, then pay. Then scan 2nd five items, coupon, pay, etc with third five items.

Schlitterbahn tickets go for $21.99 each, so this is a great deal if you get products that you would normally use anyway. Cheapest item I found after the free shampoo is a Crest Elmo kids toothbrush for $1.47. You can buy 15 of those for $22 and get your two tickets. I just didn't want that many elmo toothbrushes.

Unhappy Check date on this

I called the toll free number for information on this offer. (888-363-6038) I verified that the information is correct, BUT once they get your info on what you bought, they will send you the tickets by snail mail in 6-8 weeks. They are good for the 2008 operating season. So, just check your dates first. If you want to go in August or on the weekends in late August or September, that will work fine. I asked about the potential of not getting to use them this season due to the 8 weeks, but after being on hold for a half hour and no one coming back on to answer my question, I gave up. I guess even if they come in late August, they are still open on weekends. We were hoping to go in July

The last date for this deal is to purchase by June 3. The info line told me they have to have all the info by June 9, 2008, the cut off date.
