Many of you may or may not know that several of your local stores often offer tons of free services. I know Raley's for one offers things like free marinating and cutting of meats. But they also offer things like free knife sharpening.
All you have to do is pick up the free safety holders in the meat department, drop off up to 3 of your knives (in the holders of course), and your sharpened knives will be ready in about 24 hours - FREE.
For meats and marinades: You can select any meat products from the store, take it back to the meat department and select from your choice of several rubs or marinades.
Here's a list of what they offer. If you have a roast or something you need cut or trimmed, they'll do that too!

Other stores do similar things as well, I know stores like Savemart and Alberstons do free marinades, but I don't know about knife sharpening. Almost all of them have a free online section for coupons and recipes. Just check your local stores and see.
