ALZip is a file compression program that can unzip 40 different zip file archives. ALZip can zip files into 8 different archives such as ZIP, EGG, TAR and others. In ALZip version 8, ALZip’s own EGG format, that Unicode and other powerful function supported, can be used.
For those that have never used ALZip, it’s a very cute unzipping program. Unlike other unzipping programs, such as 7zip, which uses a folder with the letter that compares to the file type (Z, for zip, 7 for 7z, R for RAR, etc) and WinRAR (which uses a standard set of books), it uses eggs. That’s right, eggs for the icons.
