The code takes $3 off. It does not "knock it down to $3." So it is actually $5.99 shipped.

The code knocks it down to $3 for the first 1000 orders. After that it knocks it down to $6 for orders 1001 to 2000. After that, it is full price. I got mine for $3 just after I posted it. You were just a little late to the show. These deals expire really fast.
