Office Depot's $1000 in FAR software with combined Tax or Quickbooks purchase (2010)

Office Depot's Free After Rebate Software with either the purchase of Tax software or Quickbooks has begun. Use TurboTax or H&R Block At Home (formerly TaxCut). Rebates run through 4/15/2010.

"comb." = combined rebate --> requires purchase of the item plus either a tax software or Quickbooks. Require purchase of both on the same receipt.
Make sure that all of the items required to be on the same receipt are on the same receipt - OfficeDepot.com splits most of the tax software into a separate order from the non-tax software.

Upgrade Rebate Proof Requirements:

AVG:
proof of previous ownership of a stand-alone, retail (boxed or downloaded) version of any other company’s Internet Security software product by furnishing either a copy of the previous product’s CD, first page of user manual, or your confirmation email from your previous download purchase.

CA:
Provide proof of purchase of a competitive version of a CA recognized security product from Microsoft Windows Live OneCare, McAfee, Symantec, Trendmicro, Webroot, Lavasoft, Intermute, FBM or other manufacturer\recognized CA competitor.
A. For standalone or retail versions of a competitor’s product: Enclosed the actual CD Diskette or the title page of the manual, or the original invoice or a print screen of the Help/About screen (see below for instructions).
B. For downloaded versions of a competitor’s product: Enclose the confirmation E-mail or original invoice or print screen of the Help/About screen.
C. Owners of a pre-loaded, competitive security software product: Enclose a copy of the competitive product’s Help/About Screen (see below for instructions).
* Trial and Evaluation versions of competitive products, free versions, do not qualify for the competitive rebate. Trial and evaluation versions will be identified on the Help/About screen.

Kaspersky:
You must provide proof of previous ownership by enclosing ONE of the following in order to qualify for the rebate: Copy of page 1 from either a competitor's manual or previous version of Kaspersky manual OR a copy of either a competitor's install disc or previous version of Kaspersky install disc.

McAfee:
proof of previous ownership of a retail (boxed or downloaded), stand-alone version of any McAfee software product or any Norton® software, Computer Associates, Trend Micro, Webroot or any other comparable security product CD, diskette1, title page of manual, or your auction purchases, or academic offers.

Norton:
Enclose proof of previous ownership of a stand-alone, retail (boxed or downloaded) version of any Norton™ or Symantec™ software or another company’s antivirus, firewall, antispam, antispyware, utility, or back up software product by furnishing either a copy of the previous product’s CD, first page of manual (usually titled “User’s Guide”), or your confirmation email from your previous download purchase. Products pre-installed or supplied by an OEM manufacturer do not qualify.
