Default Misleading

you forgot to add dishnetwork installation and monthly charges, may be 12 month contract...... after adding all this $200 Amazon GC will be worth nothing and you are stuck with non branded TV.

Dont speculate on deals ...unless tried.

too many assumptions in this deal ....mods need to change the title $400 money market .........what does that mean

yah that is why I put "potential money maker" in the title and this would only be good if you were already looking to sign up for Dish Network. Besides the TV itself at $280.00 is not a bad price. So all and all it is still a good deal.

Your math doesn't even compute there is no way you can make $400 on this deal

+ $280.50 for the TV
- $200 GC for DN sign-up
-$ 200 C/L which is a big YMMV and very doubtful
only nets you $120 plus a 12mo contract with dish

if you've ever tried to sale a TV on CL you'll know that even if it is brand new in the box you aren't going to get anywhere near your original price. $200 would be pretty high for a $300 TV with those specs. You'd more than likely end up somewhere around $125-150. So you 'might' make $75-100 and end up with a dish network package.

Are you guys all serious? I can't put everything in the title, and I guess I should have put that you could potentially and possibly make $400 depending on how much you sold the tv for and how much you paid for Dish network etc.... etc... don't you think you all are being a bit picky?

The bottom line, it is a fairly decent price on a TV that has good reviews and is a fairly nice size, and if you are shopping around for Dish Network already then you can make some of your money back if you decided to keep the tv, OR you could make a little bit of money by reselling the tv and keeping the Amazon gift card.

You can look at it a million different ways and depending on how you are going to do this deal you might make out or you might not. I ACTUALLY bought the TV and plan on doing what I already suggested others could do as well... I might make $100, I might make $200 or even $400 that is WHY I PUT YOU COULD "POTENTIALLY" make $400!!!

But I was already planning on getting dish network and that is an expense I didn't figure in, because to me I was already going to be doing it.

So sorry I don't put every little picky detail, it really depends on how you look at the deal... and since this has caused so much trouble, please tell me how to delete the post and I will... I am new here and thought that was a good deal, I bought it and figured I would share it with everyone else... sorry that this has become such a big deal.

No need to get defensive, you are in an open forum you should expect people to call you out in your deals and in this case your thinking is totally off!

Even if you sold the TV on CL for full price the most you'd make is a $200 gift card. Obviously if you are already planning to sign up for dish this is a decent deal but again you are risking selling the TV at full price. So its a really big gamble!!

the whole point of having deal is ...it should be deal ...if i buy something for $off or % off that doesn't mean i can sell it for full price and make money.
I sold enough wii's and ps3 i bought during thanks giving on craigslist, so its too much work for money.
Amazon Dishtv deal is available with lots of other TV and laptops etc. thats what makes this deal NO DEAL
