American Express has a deal right now, where if you register your AMEX card and spend $25 or more at participating stores between Now and-December 21,2011. They are awarding thousands of gifts. From what I can see, it looks like you are guranteed something... even if it is of $1 or $2 value. Doesn't hurt if you are already planning to make those purchases.
