I have yet to use the audio splitters - need to do that tonight as need to get my sound to my TV AND my stereo...of course the stereo wins right now.

The little magnets I ordered are unbelievable. I think they were the 8mm...or maybe the 10mm. Tiny little boogers, and very strong. So strong and skinny I can't get them off the fridge without sliding them off a corner, or if something is under them I have no problem. No complaint there! The 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack converter works like a champ.

I'm very pleased so far, and have plenty of items in my future cart, as well as two more orders on their way. I would also like to try some of their handheld PMP/Gaming systems. I'm having a hard time finding one that has 640x480 (~300k pixels) and a strong processor for smooth high bitrate playback. 32-bit emulator capability would be a plus, also.

You can buy there but what will you get it's unknown, it's just your luck. Order batteries, got earphones, order black got orange and that kind of things. Customer service, forget about that, doesn't worth time, they hardly understand english.

That does seem to be the case for many items as reviewers have stated getting varied products versus the actual pictured item or listed model #. Many are still happy with the product they get, though often due to the price being so cheap.

It would seem they've managed to efficiently collaborate a dropp shipping system in with various Chinese manufacturers in order to provide incredibly low prices (in some cases). It's straight off the slave-labor/sweat shop assembly line - cutting out the Walfarts* and other middle men.

* Though I don't know that many of these are carried at Walfart, many may indeed be pre-branded items that the big brand names only stamp, package, and reship. Though most of them are probably knock-offs or illegitimate copies of items.

I've placed 2 orders with DealExtreme.com over the course of 2 months and have 2 more orders unfilled. I am extremely pleased with the items I've received so far. The packaging is crude and amazing it made it here in one piece but the items are stellar.

For instance:
I bought the MP4 Watch (~$50), I love this thing! I've downloaded home movies, tons of pictures, listen to the radio in bed and MP3's that play perfectly on this little device. I would recommend improvements (like a quick one-button press to display the time rather than hold the right-button for 4 seconds), but otherwise it is decent and worth the money. I've seen nothing like it in the US.

Also purchased a small multi-function knife/wrench/saw/bottle opener, etc. (about 12 tools in one) that is so small that I carry it everywhere. I've found similar tools that are too bulky and rarely had them on me but this one has been perfect. Already used it to cut down two small branches and open a few cases of beer bottles

For gadget lovers, the USB Plasma ball is "Da Bomb"! I love this thing and so do my kids. It was about $14 so I bought 5 and will likely order more for Christmas gifts (down to 2 now).

I've bought more items, but this is enough to mention for now. Yes, I'm feeling a bit of an addiction setting in but I've spent less there than I do around Christmas time trying to find stocking stuffers at x10 what I pay at DealExtreme.com. So, give it a shot. Place one small order of a few things of interest and try your luck. I can honestly say I'll be back and no bad experiences so far (aside from delayed shipments).
