 HT speakers 5.1 & 7.1
I'm looking for some feedback and help finding some recent deals available for either 5.1 or 7.1 speakers for my 1st HT set up.
I have a 50" 720P Panasonic Plasma and a Sony STRDA4300ES receiver that I grabbed from the SD post a few weeks ago...$400 from Sonystyle.com (Any feedback on the receiver)?
I had bought the Acoustic Research HD-510 (another SD post) about a month ago but the sub was defective and returned it to Best Buy...I had paid $140 incl. S&H...sigh
Should I re-buy the HD-510 for about $170-$180 w/ tax & S&H?
Do they sound as good as more expensive speakers that sell for over twice the price?
My LR is small, about 12x15 and I'm not looking to blast them.
My usage would be strictly for watching movies and listening to music.
Any input is greatly appreciated
