what time zone is the forum default? I want to know because I post a lot at night. If I post at 11:05 pm my time, it may not count as a post for today. It may go on tomorrow's post count or vice versa. I could post at 12:05 my time and it could go on the previous days count. I hope you can understand what I am asking. TIA.
I realize that this is an old post but if you are still wondering ... if you scroll to the bottom of the screen within the forums, it displays this info. GMT -8 hours. Hope that helps.
I just noticed this reply. I realize that that is there but that is based on your personal settings. I have mine set to my own time zone which is the central time zone. I want to know what is the time zone that ScottW uses to count the deal posts. If he is in the eastern time zone and I post a deal at 11:30pm my time, it will count on the next day, not on the day I think I am posting in because he will see it as 12:30am. I just want to be sure of the count. Thanks for your help though.
I just spotted this and all though I'm not 100% sure AFAIK deals are counted from 12:00am PST to 11:59pm PST. I thought Scott posted it in the announcement thread but I don't see it anymore.
