The quality is not close, I have both sets, and the Milwaukee is so much nicer. The plastic is thicker and more durable, the lid seals against weather, (the ridgid doesn't in the back, ask me how I know) and the clips are much more durable and won't pop open.
Also, The stacking and packing feature of the Packout is significantly better than then Ridgid set is.
