Yes, the new Dell DJ has been announced, but I highly recommend you get in on a first generation one before they stop selling them.

Dell cut the battery life on the new one by 8 hours, making it comparable to the iPod. It's not that much smaller and there aren't many improvements besides the appearance.
The question is, will Dell soon come out with a coupon code to drop these things to $99? That would be really nice, since they just dropped the price without coupons. They were down to $129 with coupons a week or so ago. It would be nice to see them drop to $99 or even $129 again, my friend wants to get one before the 2nd generation ones come out.
The 20gig is $199. Not as great as the deal earlier this month, wish i had ordered but i didn't know i needed one then.

i bought it the other week.. and im VERY satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend to anyone. First genny also has a recording option.. which is awesome b/c the mp3 player doubles as a tape recorder for anything you'd ever need a tape recorder for.. 2nd gennys removed this option in addition to the battery life drop. Get this

Do these things really sell that well? If they aren't that hot, they'll prbly drop down to 150 normal price after the 2nd gen's are out.
