I see there is the 8 1/4" dewalt also with stand for 299$... trying to determine best band for my buck. hobbyist and will most likely never move it once it is in my garage.

The fence as shown is unattached to the table to better illustrate. It is shown directly above the left pin and the notch on the left side pops down on the pin below and a lever locks it in place. When the fence is attached to the left pin, the max rip is 20". If the fence is attached to the right pin, it increases the rip to 24"
