If your left leg is Thanksgiving and your right leg is Christmas, can I meet you in between the holidays?

Believe it or not, but I use the Sony Card right now. It's a great card, but they're discontinuing it in a couple days and replacing it with the "Citibank Diamond Preferred Rewards Card", which doesn't look half as good. I don't think you'll be able to apply for the Sony Card anymore, although they might be continuing it under a new company, such as Citibank, soon, so I'll let you know what I find.

They sent me a whole letter about it. I can't remember exactly because I'm at school but it's something like you get a nice percentage back, but they only let you order select items from their own catalog, therefore they're going to rip you off big time. With my Sony card, I could purchase Sony electronics anywhere, even online, and I could still use the credit I earned. They're expanding the program to more brands etc., but they're limiting where you can buy things.

I've had a sony card since 1999...great card if you like sony products (who doesn't right?) I haven't received any letter about the switch...so that's news to me.
I've gotten three great things from them, a 6 speaker set home entertainment system (very nice), the QuadraStation 2.4Ghz cordless phone system which i added another phone to the system, and the U20 digital camera.
You can get products directly from their catalog or go buy any sony product yourself which is what i did with the camera and the phone. Sony sometimes you gives you great deals in their catalog.
Generally the rule is 100 points for each $1. So if you wanted the U20 camera which is say about $200. You'll need 20,000 points.

You can go to sony.com to get the card and click the Get the card...or:

and choose the "Click Here" to the left to get started

I really want a MiniDisc player! Too bad they're discontinuing this program. My friend brought one in and I was drooling, much better than my gigantic Nomad Jukebox 6GB MP3.
