I think this is the best deal so far this season on a gaming laptop.
VS the very popular Walmart Gateway for $699 - The Acer has a better processor, better screen, metal case, better driver support, better warranty support, and a RGB keyboard. You do lose the 2060 video card but it is only about a 15% difference in gaming. I think this is a lot more computer for only $50 more.
VS the very popular Best Buy HP OMEN for $849 - The HP dose have a better processor and a 512GB SSD. But otherwise they should be very similar. The Acer is $100 cheaper and the i7 should be more than enough processor, so saving $100 may be well worth it as your not giving up much.

Yeah, if it's 60hz that's gonna be a deal breaker for most. Especially when the Gateway had a 2060 and a 120hz display for $650. Still a good find though!

Acer's product page (not the sale listing) for this model number says 144Hz. For people who had a problem with the 9th gen of the last Nitro 5 deal, this is the perfect option. You give up 8GB RAM and a 1TB HDD, but gain a significantly better CPU. This is a nice deal!
