The pump on the upgraded unit is not good, it's internal and is a massive pain to clean, maintain, it's also super weak.
Highly recommend an external pump with a ball valve, like the MKII. If not using a pump for recirculating mash, I would assume 65% efficiency. With pump, you can safely bump to 68-70.
This is advertised more towards beginners but it will be amazing for anyone brewing 5-6 gallon batches at home, veteran or noob.
Have used both this and the Foundry, I find them to be functionally equivalent if using external pumping.

Being able to brew in my kitchen and mash & boil in a single vessel is awesome, makes cleaning so much easier, this takes forever to heat up, but that time savings is made up in the cleaning process for sure.
