A couple years ago the 660p was on sale for $80 or so all the time but then prices were driven up and it's been a while since I saw an Intel nvme for this price. I guess the point is that prices don't always decline at a constant rate anymore.
Yeah, but there are so many other cards (NVMe or plain SSD) in that that price range in last so many months that these are no longer anything special. $75 for 1tb NVMe ssd is where it smells like real deal.

A 1tb NVME SSD with DRAM cache is A GOOD DEAL AT $90!

True but the 970 evo is about $50 more too.
