Wow so many of these smart switches are coming on board... I literally just offered the Jerry's and then ordered the Kasas now this. Are there any differences between them all? I should really use the same brand for consistency? Of course these are cheaper so may lean this way
Do these require a neutral wire? I don't have neutral wiring at my place, so does that mean I can never use any of these smart dimmers until I shell out $$ to electrician for wiring?

Neutral wire is required.
As for your situation, you could look into the Lutron Caseta Dimmers if you do not want to rewire anything (only the dimmers are compatible) - it's definitely a bit pricey but they do have sales during the holidays.
Most Woot things are sold out before they are even publicized. Not a fan of woot anymore. I think there are like 5 quantity of things. They just use certain stuff to get you there and then you can see the rest of the crap.

For most switches, yes you are hosed. Take a look at these switches, C by GE says they will soon have switches that don't need a neutral and may be an option for you. They aren't out yet, so I don't know how good they will be, but you don't have many options without pulling a neutral wire. https://www.cnet.com/news/c-by-ge...tral-wire/
