American Airlines is running a one-day BUSINESS CLASS fare promotion where round-trip travel from select cities to select cities in South America start from $979. I did find Los Angeles (LAX) to Cartagena Colombia (CTG) for $571 and New York (JFK) to Guayaquil Ecuador (GYE) for $559, round trip in business class even though those countries aren't listed below in the terms.

Having said that, customs/most airports are federal property, (and just guessing at this point) but I'd assume the new Biden Admin will finally enforce these things starting in a couple days when he's President. So YMMV.
