Micro Center has a refurbished iPhone 8 64gb space gray for $199.99 in store only. Great option for a replacement phone or trade in with ATT and get $700
There is no such thing as refurbished Apple anything, if it's not refurbished by Apple. Everything else is used and abused
True, it's a used phone. If you want a real deal, look for a factory recertified. And one more important note buying from Micro Center, check the their Return Policy. The one in Rockville, MD does not accept returns on some products including phones

Beg to differ.
Microcenter buys refurbished iPhones from Foxconn, which is a manufacturer for Apple. They are fully refurbished with OEM parts to like-new condition.
"Our APPLE IPHONE devices are rebuilt (remanufactured) by an authorized Apple facility with OEM parts which include (LCD, back housing, charging ports and Batteries). It is NOT just a used product that has been cleaned up and called refurbished; this product will have all the form, fit and function of a like new device. Our phones have been successfully tested and passed a full diagnostic exam, which ensures like-new functionality and removal of any prior-user personal information; the operating systems have been updated to the latest version available at the time of testing before being packaged for resale. These devices are "like new" and are considered to be in Excellent/Grade A condition, they have been Inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arms-length. Any electronic hardware not passing diagnostic testing is replaced. Remanufactured products come fully backed with a limited warranty that is promptly facilitated at the Micro Center Store."
The 2 iPhones I purchased from Microcenter were like new, with no scratches, dents, fully functional, and with battery health in the upper 90s.
Although Microcenter does not accept returns due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is the vendor warranty for 90 days parts & labor. But I would think that if a reburbished iPhone was defective and demonstated to Microcenter, they would accept a return of the defective iPhone.
