The average idiot shopper is not savvy. Highlighting a product at regular price will still increase sales. Just look at any Staples or Best Buy circular.

Why bother the only item which is not put any $$ off. These products are as good as their regular monthly sale prices and some of these don't go on sale very often.

Costco is about the worst place you can shop if the location near you is busy and COVID19 case counts are high in the area. As we already know, you can't count on everyone else's better judgement when it comes to the virus.
