I follow AvE on YouTube and he's done a disassembly of Blendtec and Vitamix in the past. I own both and my Blendtec burned its motor on year 8 with very little intermittent use (7 year warranty by the way). I hope my Vitamix goes longer. Do yourself a favor and buy Vitamix instead. Also, analog controls > digital controls.
