Hi. Mods aren't typically the ones who expire threads here, though we do occasionally.
However even if this deal was the same, it wouldn't have been considered a repost. Our repost rules are if a thread is over a week old with no new posts (besides OP) in 3 days, a new thread isn't considered a repost. We have that guideline for deal alerts and things like that. When that happens, the older dead thread is typically expired when a new current one has been posted. That other thread was posted 1/24/21 and no posts since 2/6/21.
It has 50% more GPU and modest CPU improvement. But no pen or keyboard.
Overall think I'm going to keep this deal as it's $5-600 cheaper with accessories includes

I'm praying Surface Pro 8 uses the new AMD 8-core, 16-thread 15W chip. I know it's unlikely but we can only dream. I'm so tired of Intel's optimistic bluster of how every generation is dramatically better than the previous. the only time I felt that was when the Surface Pro 6 had the new 4-core processor versus the Surface Pro 2017 which was the last to have the dual core version. Surface Pro 7 (when not compared to any generation) is fantastic. But if you have a Surface Pro 6, you can skip 7. The GPU improvements aren't enough.
Yes, I was able to purchase one. Will be getting it tomorrow. I think it's a pretty decent deal.
