I would stay away from LG. Best buy has a better product listing for this model. It has a water dispenser inside the door and also an ice maker.

We had this one. The compressor broke in less than 7 yrs. Stay away from LG refrigerators.

And yes, we bought the GE cafe line refrigerator as replacement.

LG settled the compressor lawsuit and changed the design. Presumably they have worked it out now as it's a huge pain for them.

LG compressors has a 10 year warranty. Mine failed and I had a tech out in two days for a free replacement.

Good deal. Bought this a month ago at costco for $1650 when our 8ish year old Kenmore Elite died when compressor failed and started to release metal chunks throughout it's internal system. Yes that old Kenmore is also LG. But compressor technology has improved since then (this LG is late 2019 model) so I'm not too worried. Also we did zero maintenance on that fridge in a house full of pets, because we're supposed to vacuum every 6 months.

That'd be useful. Except Costco has additional year of warranty, price point is almost same as other stores. Inside of me wants me to stay away hearing all the problems. Once you buy, you shouldnot look at it again for the next 7 years!!
