It seems like a lot of companies are starting to pump out smart switches and plugs. You may want to consider sticking with one brand vs giving your info out to too many foreign companies. They all require your info to sign up and their app on your phone if you want the smart functions. Also make sure they are all added to your guest network not your main!

If you're willing to put in the time to learn how, buying these types of smart dimmers and flashing them with a firmware like Tasmota is a great option. This converts them from being cloud controlled to locally controlled. This way if the company that sold you the HW goes out of business, you can continue to use the product. From a quick search, it appears this model, the SR46, may be flashable to Tasmota. What I don't know is whether you have to take apart the unit to do so.

I've had good success with any of these that use the Smart Life app. I'll agree that you should stick to one app ecosystem... but brand doesn't as much as long as its a safe and reliable product per reviews and info.

Good price. It would be a great deal if it was flashable to Tasmota but I'm not seeing any info on this specific model, Teckin SR46, from the 2 big sites:
