Same price on Amazon[amazon.com] (currently OOS but will be delivered by next weekend). According to the three wise camels, it's been on sale at this price several times in the last year.
These are cheap knives; yes, they're Chicago Cutlery, but they're Chinese-made and basically throwaways.
It will be in the FP edited version. I am not saying that is why it will go FP, just adding it in as additional data. So relax, sarcasmatician. Your sarcasm is better than your math, at least.

I own them. Wouldn't call them throw always, but I'm just a home cook.
Chicago Cutlery are definitely not great knives, but for the price, no bolster, and a style that isn't just every other western chefs knife, why not. Contrary to all the western/gyuto that all the Japanese knife enthusiasts in the west like to recommend, an average home cook might find that they like a santoku better. They certainly push-pull better due to their flatter edge and not every home cook prefers rocking.
I still use my Chicago Cutlery chefs knife I got 5 years ago although it has terrible edge retention from the stupid soft steel it has. I have to sharpen it much more than my Ikea Vorda with X50CrMoV15 (although if you're going with ikea, get the 365+ because bolsters suck).
The steel on this is probably worthless since I have to sharpen my Chicago Cutlery every 2 weeks because it just doesn't stay sharp. But I too got my crappy set for under $10 and after getting a whetstone it's at least livable.
