Just received an email from Chase advertising:
"Try Google PayTM online by 6/15/21 and earn $10.
Get a $10 statement credit when you save your Chase Freedom® credit card to your Google account and make a minimum purchase of $20 at your favorite stores using Google Pay online."
They also listed detailed steps of adding Google Pay to a Chase card.
Looks to be a targeted email and is attached to your credit car but receive a $10 statement credit when you use your Chase Freedom card online using Google Pay for a purchase of $20 or more.
Promotion ends 6/15/21 and may take up to 8 weeks for credit to post to your account.
I used this card with google pay before, still got the email. Wonder if it will still work. I will give it a shot for $20 purchase and if I do not get it I am sure customer service will take care of it anyway.
I think Google Pay is in a lot of fast food apps, in fact is generally listed as the default payment type in those apps. I've used Google Pay in the Burger King app, and it's also in the Popeye's app. But I was looking for a general purpose store like Target, and I can't find Google Pay in any that I might normally shop at, app or website.
I assume when it says to use Google Pay 'online', it means using it to pay in a store's app vs holding it to a touchless reader in-store. Or is it suppose to mean going to a store's website (vs app) and paying from there? Or either from website or app?
**Oh, eBay-website takes Google Pay for SOME purchases -- I think it depends on the seller**
Late reply...I don't log in often. But yes, I did receive the credit on 5/6. It appeared as a line item on my statement "stmnt crdt for gpay transaction".

I think ebay app supports it
No Google Pay on Target's website.
No Google Pay in Panera's app.
No Google Pay on Panera's website.
This has to be done online.
Has anyone found one that takes Google Pay?
Thanks1

1) Use the card registered on Google Pay to buy something online - This means you can buy anything anywhere on line.
2) Use the card registered to buy something online via the Google Pay payment method. - This is something I can't seem to find.

I know Samsung.com and few retailers take it but I have to find something worth while to buy for $20.
Also received this easy $5 off deal
"Tap to pay three times from Feb. 16 through May 31, 2021, and receive 500 points when each purchase is $1.75 or more.* No enrollment is necessary."
I've made several Google Pay online purchases ranging from $20 to $36 in the last couple of months. Still no sign of $10 as of today.(May 25)
Thanks!
