Saw that this is having a coupon for $100 off, it's a pretty decent deal if you're looking for something thin and light with an RTX 2070 Max-Q (not far off behind from an RTX 3060) This is the same chassis/keyboard as the Eluktronics Mech-15!

The XPG XENIA is built to provide the gaming performance of a high-end desktop PC, squeezed into one of the thinnest gaming notebooks. Weighing in at only 4.08lbs, the ultralight magnesium alloy chassis is packed with an Intel Core i7-9750H processor and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB giving the XPG XENIA more than enough power to tackle everything from content creation to the most demanding games with ease.

Designed in collaboration with Intel, XPG XENIA delivers desktop level gaming performance thanks to its proven Intel Core i7-9750H processor paired with a robust NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB.

$1200 for a TongFang QC7 laptop with a 2070 is damn good...that's how much the 1660Ti version was going for on sale 3 months ago when I bought mine, plus this is 1x16 instead of 2x8GB so it'll be cheaper to upgrade in the future.

yeah...you'll probably find the same tech specs on another laptop for slightly cheaper but this has a lot more going for it that those:
  1. Quality Build chassis (not plastic)
  2. mechanical keyboard (hit or miss for people...but amazing if you like it)
  3. really nice touchpad
  4. huge battery (6-10hr when not gaming)
  5. The BIOS is fully unlocked...which you absolutely will not get from other laptops. You can underclock the CPU, GPU and Intel graphics to get better performance as well as limit battery charge for longer life.

Those things above are worth easily several hundred dollars to some people

I'm seeing $1300 with a clip-able coupon again.

That said, the 1660Ti version of this via Eluktronics is $1000 and about the same quality of a deal...just depends if you're willing to pay the extra $200 for the new features in a 2000 series GPU; In a lot of games, the 2070 is just a little ahead but in games with ray tracing there's a pretty significant jump.

Both laptops have great thermals but there's a 75C temp limit on the GPU by default...but that's also bypassed via "Benchmark mode" via the Control Center software (increases it to 85C I think...maybe more)

Here's a good comparison (real-world benchmarks start around 2:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HG1XrhSOCk)
