Public Service Announcement: Staples, like lots of online retailers, sells CC Subscriptions, including the Photography plan (Photostop and Lightroom) for $119.99 ... pretty standard price, but you can earn and use Staples Rewards on these purchases.

You can use Staples Rewards on these purchases ... and right now (and pretty often) you can get 30% Rewards on Ink/Toner purchases. (Staples prices for 1st party ink are pretty much the same as Amazon etc).

A few weeks ago, I bought ink for a Canon Pro100 and earned $36 back in rewards. I had another $5 reward and so I was able to get a year of the Photography Plan for 33% off ($120-$41 = $79) .
You can also get an additional 2% cashback from a popular cashback site for Staples purchases, so I think you can double dip and get that on the initial ink/toner purchase and the CC subscription purchase later on.
Redeeming the activation code worked fine for my existing CC subscription, which expired April 1 and was in the grace period. I'd bet you can extend an active subscription but I haven't tested it.
