Those expensive blu rays from arrow are on sale just be careful on region locked ones.

These will play in a region A player: RoboCop: Director's Cut, Twelve Monkeys, Weird Science

You can check the movies on blu-ray.com, they usually have information concerning any region locks.

The UHD titles are region free, and I'm only aware of three UHD titles where the distributor region locked them by doing something to make players think they are regular blu-rays.

That's correct. From what I can tell, if they say a and b you should be okay to buy from the uk site. If they only say region a then I think it means there is an a separate from the b so the uk ones would not work here. This is just my thoughts so buy at your own risk or double check with cus ser.

Region B Blu-rays can't be played on players sold through normal retail channels, unless they are designated region-free. Region codes for the Arrow discs can be found under the "Details" tab, and "Twelve Monkeys," "Weird Science," and "Robo-Cop: Director's Cut" are all labeled B. But dvdcompare.net says they are "Region A/B-coded."

Anyway, thanks to OP for posting this. They don't call it "Easter Carnage" for nothing, judging from all the horror and slasher films in the catalog. At the same time there are a bunch of classics--"Bicycle Thieves," "Night of the Hunter," the Marx Brothers' Paramount titles, "The Big Clock"--and a collection of Eastern European films, like "Loves of A Blonde," and Werner Fassbinder's films. It's kind of a hodgepodge.

I found three Blu-rays--"Duck Soup," "Twelve Monkeys," and "Withnail and I"--that have features that aren't included in the U.S. releases. Shipping for three discs is £8, for a total of $14.67 per disc.
