Looking at the Specs of Series S vs. Series X and I can't help but to think it's worth saving a little extra for the Series X. Anyone agree?
Those were my thoughts as well. They're both pretty comparable with the X having 1TB vs S with 512GB and 12 Teraflops of processing power vs 4 Teraflops. And of course 4k vs 2k gaming resolution.

If you can get series X at msrp and plan to game in 4K, would get it over the S. Extra internal storage, more teraflops and disk option are definitely worth $200 IMO. With that being said, the $300 series S is a great value to get in to this "next gen" round of consoles
The S bundle has been in stock at Costco the past 2 weeks. I have been keeping an eye on it and tempted to pull the trigger but I am holding out on a Target or BB drop just for the console alone.
The S is ideal for a PC gamer who has a 1440p monitor to hook it up too. It's a good supplement if you like sports titles like MLB the Show or Madden (both free on game pass). Some people will argue that having a Xbox and PC is redundant but I disagree. The games for PC on gamepass are no where near as extensive as console and Microsoft is not stupid. They withheld Outriders from being a day 1 free game on PC but allowed it on console.

I was doing the same thing. Found 1 this week at Target and saved 5% with Redcard...Saw 1 in stock at BB too...These seem to randomly go in and out of stock at a few stores.

I would not call a 66% higher price tag for the Xbox Series X a little extra. If anything it would be worth it to save a little extra or 33% more money for the PS5 digital edition. The PS5 digital edition has 157% more teraflops than the Xbox Series S.

Those probably won't come out until they start having trouble selling these. That might be a heck of a wait.

Can't afford both then shouldn't buy either. im not saying you need to or should buy both but save for something that appreciates instead.
