One of my first deals I've posted, so be gentle.
EDIT: I tried again and after some haggling I was able to get $1850 plus tax for the basic system (RTX 3080, 5600X, 8GB ram, 1TB HDD), so I ordered it and cancelled my earlier order. Also, if you join their Preferred Membership you get back 6% in rewards, but I'm sure most SD'ers already know that.
Deal ends tomorrow morning at 7am Central (10% off high performance PC's). YMMV.
I had to chat with a rep to get a bit more off and the ram upgrade for only $70 instead of the usual $100. YMMV on the ram upgrade price.
Just go to their Alienware configurator, pick the lowest version of the R10 and select what I selected, or the 8Gb ram and 1TB HDD options, if you want the cheapest you can get. Then chat with a rep to get a bit more off and hopefully the ram upgrade deal.
This is what I got for $2,053.19 plus tax:

I might not be totally accurate here, but from what I understand, the RTX cards have a huge advantage in games that utilize DLSS. They also perform better in games that use ray tracing

My guess is that they know exactly how many they're getting, and will get it to you pretty quick. This isn't cyberpower or ibuy.
The only thing to take note of, is that I bought mine for $1666 or whatever it was last time, and I can't seem to sell the computer for $650 with a GTX770 in there (no offers either)... so if you want to buy this for the card alone, get ready to sit on the system.
Yup. That is correct for ray tracing. None ready tracing is very close
