Quicken is offering 40% off digital downloads with a 1-year subscription, today only. This is not valid on Quicken Starter but is valid on all other versions of Quicken. The prices are:

Deluxe: $31.19/year
Premier: $46.79/year
Home and Business: $62.39/year

Keep in mind that this is a subscription, so you will need to renew every year to keep using it. I am not sure if this is only for new subscribers or if it also applies to existing subscribers.

I was able to get the $31.19 price for Quicken Deluxe by clearing cookies and than I did a search, but the price reverted back to $51.99 when I signed in to review the order. I called customer support at 650-250-1900 and I spoke with someone within a few moments. After a little discussion, I was able to get a renewal for $31.19.

Thanks for the tip. It took a little time on hold to reach a person but they also gave me the $31.19 price no questions asked.

I was able to renew my Home & Business. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes, but the rep was friendly and eventually agreed to the 40% discount.

Waiting for a similar deal where I don't have to be on the phone for 30+ minutes. Last year Amazon, NewEgg, and a few others all discounted renewals and new purchases for Quicken in late April / early May.

I too got the $31.19 price (today) when I called the number provided by Shatnes. Thanks! I was seriously considering switching to Personal Capital or MoneyDance or another of the good alternatives, after 20 years using Quicken. It took 20 minutes on the phone, but I got the email confirmation of renewal added to the 10 days left on my current subscription.

I just called, got through in a couple of minutes. He told me the deal wasn't valid for renewals but offered me a $15 discount. Got Deluxe for $36.99

I am using the standard subscription free from turbotax. Problem when manually download my 401K statement, I get a message that this is not allowed I need to upgrade to Premier...such BS!

Thanks for this. My quicken deluxe was going to expire, but I forgot I got free starter from turbotax (though had to pay tax). So I did that and got a year of starter, but I need Deluxe, so I paid full price ($51.99+tax) for the upgrade. Giving me a subscription until January 2023. hug

Also for your issue. Why do you even need the 401k statement for Quicken? I use Deluxe to download my transactions, but why not just put in the totals in Starter manually.
