Can you do a return direct to local store if unhappy with it (ie after looking at smart info) or do you have to mail it somewhere? I seldom buy from best buy.

Where do these come from? Returns or pulled from other PC's? How would you test the SSD after installing win 10 to see if there are any bad spots on the drive?
It's a basically new drives,with a couple of hours use...Great deal!
best part is that it may come with the previous user's stash of interesting pictures....
that's what happened when I bought a GeekSquad certified Sandisk SSD last year. It looked brand new. i plugged it into my SSD dock to test the speed first.
That's when I noticed that the SSD was over 50% full. I started looking ant it appeared that someone was using it as the boot drive. Windows 10 was still on there. The guy must really loved P-----b because he/she saved a ton of videos. I had to examine most of videos for educational purpose, of course. That guy really, really had respect for older women(aunts, garndmas) because almost all the videos were dedicated to them.
It also made me start using disk encryption... especially in case I needed to return a SSD for any reason because Best Buy GeekSquad probably didn't always take the time to wipe drive first?
