Only have one issue " made in China", now it is possible they have great quality control and the product works really well, another company was selling pellet grills at Costco before and theirs were made in China.
Costco will stand behind the grill of course.
So went to Costco today and actually took a pic of the box
So weird it says imported by Dansons in Phoenix Arizona. Thought the company was located in Louisiana?

A pitboss user, looking at this a few things I like, window in the hopper to see pellet level. The external sliding sear plate which annoys me my pitboss does not have.
One thing I am not sure about if they have a removal able ash cup? Or if you have to vacuum it out like on my pitboss.
Also for this price would like to have seen a side shelf and or a smoke chimney. Overall $400 is not bad cause of the Costco warranty backing it, but probably get better deals half way through the spring summer and off course excellent deals on clearance which is usually when I buy a new grill.

All sub-$1000 (and even some $1000+ Traegers) are made in China. Danson's sells several brands of pellet grills, generally I've Louisiana Grills are higher quality than their Pit Boss line, but that can vary by model and all of Danson's products are a pretty good value. Comparable models from Green Mountain, Camp Chef, and Rectec are also made in China - the much more expensive Yoder, Memphis, and MAK brand are made in the US. It's too bad Costco got in bed with Traeger because they used to sell a wide range of Louisiana Grills at a good value.

I'm new to pellet grills and am waiting to pull the trigger on the best deal. Is this worth it to start out?
