Got this for 158 with tax & coupon.
Had to sign up for 10% off discount coupon with my email and phone number.

TigerDirect has been alerted to their misleading listing for several days now, but they have refused to fix it. Instead of shipping these in original manufacturer packaging, these are brown box items. TigerDirect conceals this fact from you at the product page.

In Zoom, you'll never give out 4k quality to yourself or to the other zoom participants. It's just that the quality is better when compared with other easy simple webcams. Since in Zoom everyone will be minimized in rectangular box, your picture will be small in people's screen. Around 200x200 ish. Not even close to 4k.
The only time you actually utilize the 4k feature is when you're actually recording something for offline and uploading somewhere like YouTube later on. But for live conference stuffs, there is no 4k. We're just not there yet. Those companies don't support 4k conference calls. Not Zoom, not Skype.
You still need bright light or extra light in front of you to have a nice fidelity picture quality. If you're on low light, your picture would still look really bad on the other side. You need good lighting to take advantage of the nice picture quality. No light = bad video. I usually put 2 table lights in front of me. I thought about getting softboxes, but it would too much work setting up and taking down. So I settled with table lights from amazon.
the 4k is only 30fps. So not that smooth I'd say. Live quality vs. offline quality is night and day. You lose ALL the details in live scenario vs. offline. In offline you can see the details 4k HD glory. You can see your wrinkles. In live online? NO
Microphone on Brio is better than your onboard laptop mic. Buy Samson Q2U USB mic for better quality. Best cheap affordable mic for home use.
If you have your Brio clipped on your laptop, you cannot close your laptop's lid. Too big. This is the biggest hassle for me.
Do I like it? YES. Because its simple. I don't need too many cables and softwares to do live stuffs. Would I recommend? yes. I bought this at BB at full price $200

Realistically its a high end sensor that will give better visual fidelity at lower resolutions in 99% of calls, but that's hard to explain to most consumers so pointing out its max possible 4K resolution is an easier sell.
