Anyone have experience with these? Seems like a cheap/cost effective way to control things?

works great...

I have 7 of them. All purchased year when Amazon and Best Buy had them for $5 each!

the only problem that I ever had was when my home lost internet connection. Not all the Amazon plugs went back online automatically after internet was restored. some kept flashing red, requiring me to unplug and plug them back in to reset.

When I went to the page, it said use code 'plug' to buy it for 99 cents.
So I got it for a buck.

Same. $5 Black Friday, $5 prime day, $5 when buying a dot, $5 when ordered through Alexa, etc.. I bought them whenever they did these $5 promos. Used to turn on fans, Christmas tree etc.. Only issues I have had is losing info when unplugged and occasionally needing to ask it twice when turning on the fan. Responds quicker than the Phillips smart bulbs I have.

I bought way too many... can't find uses for 2 of them, so I plugged them into each other. They are sitting on my desk as a paperweight right this very minute. Frown

below is what my Amazon smart plug paperweight looks like. Smilie
