You are much better off buying the $180 "used-acceptable" one from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Majority of people have been receiving what by all indications are factory refurbs. I have received 3 of these $180 ones. All look to be minty refurbs

ordered the 981 used from Amazon for $160 they accept 30 day returns
So this is a better deal than the certified refurbished ebay sale with 2 year allstate warranty

My 980 is just 2yrs old. It started to stop with "Error 2, clear extractors". I bought new extractors, and still throws the same codes after about 5min. My point is that a refurb might be working today, but who knows how long.

I got a 980 thinking it would be an upgrade from my 655... I used it 2 days and then returned it. The 980 was worse with bumping into stuff (which was my major reason for upgrading) but it actually picked up less dirt/dust.
