Usually ppl stay away from this product because of its Keyboard. It's not true mechanical. It's Mecha Membrane. But $120 for this combo, can't really complain. Can we?

Can't complain at all - buying each of the items individually leads to a total of $207. Fantastic sale price if you have no PC peripherals at all and want to start somewhere with RGB.
My son and probably tons of others prefer mecha-membrane. But that's not a very popular opinion.
I am not a good enough gamer or typist to care, but I do like my Razer Huntsman Elite. Very nice.
This is a very solid deal. The keyboard isn't mechanical which is really the only knock on it but for the price you likely won't find a better deal. The headset is excellent and incredibly comfortable and the mouse is one of the best on the market. I own around 25 gaming mice and the Viper Ultimate (the wireless version of the one included) is my go to. If you're just getting into pc gaming this is an excellent deal, and Costco's warranty can't be beaten.
I just bought a gaming pc and bought this deal. Is there a big difference in this keyboard from a mechanical keyboard on gaming?
If it helps at all in perhaps coming to a comparative decision, I went from a membrane to a MX Cherry Mechanical and while my finger/wrist pain is now non-existent, I also increased my avg. typing speed by a whomping 35+ more than I was previously. So if you want to take that into consideration, YMMV, but hope that helps if any.
Also in terms of this deal aside from the membrane keyboard, component and peripheral wise this is a solid option considering you have Costco's Warranty Policy. However, with that being said, Razer in general doesn't have the greatest of track records for reliability, so that is something to note. Again though, it can be hit or miss.

it feels way better to type on. its not that big of a deal tho imo, just if u ever replace that keyboard (which will probably break in 1-2 years since its razer) keep an eye open for a real mechanical keyboard. A cheap mechanical keyboard is around 50bucks.

I recently got my first ever mechanical keyboard and I have to say, the difference is noticeable. The keys are just much nicer to type on, they have a firmness to them that can't compare to the keyboard I used to have.
That said, I never felt like I was suffering with my previous keyboard. Even reading tons of comments and reviews all saying how much better mechanical keyboards were, I never really "got it" until I tried it for myself. So basically, if you've never tried a mechanical keyboard, then a regular keyboard and the keyboard in this deal will likely be just fine for you and you'll never know the difference. On the other hand, if you've tried a mechanical keyboard and gotten used to it, it'll probably be difficult for you to ever go back to an ordinary membrane one. To me, it's like the difference between biting into a soft, mushy apple, and a perfectly crisp one.
