I think it's the 1st gen
Difference is that the 2nd gen is compatible with apple home kit.
2nd gen has better low light imaging.
2nd gen can record to a USB on the base station https://technicallywell.com/eufyc...eufycam-2/

I have Eufy system in my house. If you need it for the alarm ir warning, look somewhere else, the siren is not loud. You can sleep through it. If you just want to record, its fine.
I've had a really good experience with the EufyCam 1 system for over a year now. I had one camera go bad and Eufy replaced it without hassle. Obviously there are better systems out there but for the price and ease of installation this is a good deal. Also, the HomeBase1 has a built-in battery backup. I don't think HomeBase2 has that. But a UPS can take care of that.

This is indeed 1st gen. Not sure about the 2nd gen being able to record to USB drive however. It's been promised for a long time, but as far I know, it hasn't been delivered.
Here are other differences
1) 1st gen has built in micro SD card slot. Supports upto 128GB card
2) 1st gen has built-in battery backup
3) 1st gen has built in face recognition. Allows you to upload person faces in its database.
Homebase 1 supports both Eufycam 1 and 2...Homebase 2 supports both as well.
