Follow the maintenance instruction in the manual. After washing, dry it out completely before using it.
as such, i did a pretty thorough comparison and the LG overall is a much better well thought-out product, designed better (for the most part), seemingly built better, and better looking if that matters at all.
mine also came looking pretty good (definitely not new condition though), and when it ran, idk what they did to refurb it but it literally smelled like flowers when the hepa filtered air would blow into my face.
and yes, it blows into your face. that has its ups and downs. positive being it wont blow dust around the surfaces you clean. negative being, well, obvious.
the worst part about this vacuum though, is the cannister emptying mechanism. you have to pop open the bottom and shake the crap out of it as well as take the middle mesh filter out for a good emptying and..........boy does it get messy. but if you're used to any bagless vacuums, this shouldnt be news.
i just expected something better from a small, convenient stick vac from 2019/2020 or whenever this came out. also, you can not wash the actual cannister with water. just the mesh filter. so that was pretty big for me and thats ultimately what made me stick with the samsung. not that the samusng doesnt have its negatives.
ironically, i feel like samsung's weakest point is also emptying the cannister. samsungs cannister is just well, pain to take out. yes, you have to take the whole thing out unless you buy the clean station and replace it with the bin it comes in the clean station. even then, that has no latch mechanism for users to pop out. thats solely for the clean station to suck out and empty. so yea, you have to take it out, then empty it in any case. in a way, it is better as you can clean the whole thing, and more safely (from the dust) empty it, but the worst part is putting it back on. it is so tricky and always takes multiple attempts and i feel like it wont be long til something breaks there. this is a problem whether or not you use the clean station.
So in the end, i feel like LG is definitely the better vacuum overall vs the samsung.
dyson is a very nice in the middle in terms of the cannister emptying.
its funny but how you empty the cannister is my top priority in these stick vacs. and it is pretty darn important given how small it is.
oh and the battery life is pretty darn good on these LGs even with just one, and they give you two right off the bat. this is a great deal.

Was just able to purchase the Samsung Jet 90 Complete for approx. $130 with extra battery, so once it arrived, the LG may get returned....
