I like liquid gel pills too, but when you can get 600 regular pills(although generic) for around $5 instore or $8 shipped via costco/samsclub and even Amazon for a couple $$ more, it's a little hard to see the value in the brand name here. You're essential paying 10x.
Agreed. I use the Sam's branded diphenhydramine (Aller-ben) as a sleeping aid.

Some people use it as a sleep aid (I do on occasion, I rarely actually need it for allergies).

Good deal if you want the brand name. This generic is a little bit cheaper at $2.60/24 pack and you can save an extra 25% off with subscribe and save. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WZI...YW677TVQZ6

The value is that it is faster acting and digested easier than the hard shells. I do shell out the extra money (no pun intended) when it comes to Advil liquid gels, as the hard-shelled versions are harder on my stomach and I want pain relief fast, but with Benadryl I always buy bulk.

Agree use this as sleep aid but do not waste money on name brand, generic can be bought significantly cheaper on Amazon.

Thanks, the alzheimer's/dementia risk is something I am concerned about.

Have a read: https://fsastore.com/learn-clarit...adryl.html

Apparently Benadryl is an older generation for treating allergies. Though, I find Ben reacts faster than Claritin, but it lasts only for about 4 hours, personally.

Based on evidence that regular long term use can lead to dementia, I would advise against this.
