And these Chengde masks are much more bird beak looking than other KN95s, it's a lot uglier than I thought, it protrudes from your face a lot
I would recommend purchasing a mask brace like the one from fixthemask.com to get a complete seal on the mask or try one of the counterfeit ones if $35 is too much to spend,
the carbon dioxide buildup in KN95s is concerning though, I'm thinking about buying a good brand of surgical masks and using the mask brace on those instead of the KN95, there were tests done with the brace on surgical masks, and resulted in 90 to 95+% filtration, so surgical mask will protect as well as KN95 with the mask brace on properly.
I've been informed Amazon puts all the SKU numbers in the same bin in their warehouse, doesn't matter which seller it is, if it's shipped by Amazon, they all go in the same bin, even the counterfeit ones Amazon labels them all the same, so this is why Amazon cannot be trusted when buying masks
My final conclusion:
If you only have surgical masks, use the fix the mask bracer on it to get up to 96% filtration with a good mask(Zubrex is cheap on Amazon and had very good test results)
Edit: I tried the fixthemask bracer and it was very uncomfortable for me, I think I got a size too small, but I still would not recommend this, just get kf94s
Next best option is the Powecom KN95 masks, about 50 cents right now, can't afford to cheap out, this still affordable
Best option is KF94 masks, they are made to stricter standards in Korea, and I found out they also have a standard for carbon dioxide buildup, so you won't have to worry about that building up in kf94s
Two best brands I've concluded are BOTN and Bluna, they are not cheap though, around $2 each, can find them cheaper on Amazon, for BOTN the legit seller is named Peitnel(Kollecte), not sure about Bluna sellers though, only buy ones shipped by the seller themselves, not by Amazon
Aaron Collins did tests on reusing the BOTN masks for 30 to 40 hours of use, after 38 hours the mask still filtered out 96 to 97% or more, so you can rotate these masks, reuse one every 4 days, use it 2 or 3 times, it'll cost like 50 cents each if you reuse each one 3 times
