These were my favorite books in 3rd grade through 5th or 6th grade. Even when I was required to change to higher level reading I still read these books on the side because I enjoyed them so much! I remember having to read Moby Dick to catch back up to first place because I wasted too much time reading the new Redwall novel when my library finally got a copy.

I read the 1st one to my kids.... and more than a year later I was finishing up the 23rd(?) and last one.

They are a little repetitive but not so bad as you may think. And if you've read none of them, $3 for the first one (Redwall) is an absolute treat.

This is the best type of book to read to your kids, probably 5-6+ years of age. It is an awesome adventure and like the others, I loved it.

It says the Redwall series is soon to be a Netflix movie. Great news! Hope more of these go on sale. I own 2 but would love to get more. Good for all young of heart plus wonderful food descriptions.

The old animated series was pretty decent too but I remember thinking I didn't like the animation style that much for what it was.

I absolutely loved the Redwall series as a kid. One of the highlights of my life was getting Brian Jacques' autograph at a book signing years ago.

I remember feeling incredibly sad whenever Jacques died... I have about half the books in hard copy, and I would love to have the rest in hard copy but they're pretty hard to find now for a decent price...
