Here we go again. This knife was a front page the last time it was posted in Nov, 2020, but had a lot of complaints about quality control and lack of customer service.
Plus there were a lot of complaints because the knife was small and had no lock. Well, the 2.5" blade length is clearly listed in the specs, as well as the fact that is is a slipjoint knife which has no lock by design. Slipjoint knives have been around forever and aren't especially dangerous or unsafe as some folks seem to think, though probably not the best kind of knife to do a lot of stabbing with. But that's not what they are designed for. Plus, locking blades are illegal in some places where all you can own are smaller slipjoint knives.
So, go read that thread HERE and make an informed choice if this is the knife for you or not. I personally recommend something in the Ganzo Firebird line[powercutlery.com] if you want to spend similar money for a great budget knife. Add another $8-$10 and you can get one of those in quality D2 also.
I got a Slinger (same brand but different knife ) as a gift for someone but checked it out first... it was solid on initial impressions but I have to agree the Ganzo stuff is much better as is the Sanrenmu stuff as well
This one i especially like....

Does anyone know who actually makes these??? I assume they are.made by a company in China but could.be wrong....
Yeah, stick with Ganzo/Firebird for a quality knife ~ $20 for the 440C ersatz axis lock models , and the D2 linerlock models on bearings run about ~ $25-28. They have increased in price, I had purchased most of my 440C models (I have probably ~ 15 Ganzo's) in the $11-$16 range going back 3-4 years, and more recently they're running ~ $20. The quality is borderline astonishing, especially the latest "Firebird" models that have skeletonized liners, well-centered blades, and very smooth actions (the D2 models are literally "fall-shutty"). Used to buy them from FastTech or urlhasbeenblocked, then wait about a month for the slow boat from China to arrive, more recently get them from Amazon, Power Cutlery or even Ebay and they usually land within 3-5 days
