I'm actually seeing $314 RT or less. This deal can also be replicated from EWR, but it's on a 737 Max-9, while JFK is MOSTLY on a 767-300ER.

it's not unusual for other airlines to match, eventually.

One of my most memorable trips (& we did it in Winter). Wonderful/inspiring landscape, Aurora watching & friendly peoples

To aid in tourism, their flight offerings usually allow a stop-over for as long as you'd like before continuing, with NO costs (IE: US > Iceland (for {X} days) > {Y} == FREE)

Just be prepared to pay out the @ss for EVERYTHING (if the hotel offers bfast+, it's better to take 'em up on their offer as a cup of joe == $5+ anywhere).

Pick up a hop on-off bus ticket for a get-around. It was on time, clean & easy

Best time to see the Aurora *shrug*. Only time it really felt like it (when that wind was kicking over the tree-less plains, in the middle of the night)

Oh, & when we went Blue Lagoon in/out

Best solo trip of my life. Randomly went on a glacier hike on Snæfellsjökull with a bunch of French musicians my second day there. Ended up tagging along with them the rest of the trip. Just rent a camper if you can = total freedom.
