Pretty sure Exchange is an official site for military and vets. Pretty trustworthy, although a little behind in terms of inventory management and such. Not going to get one day shipping, but it's legit.

I am thinking of getting a dewalt pack. i have the older dewalt(impact hammer and drill) with one good battery now and a bunch of ryobi's but no good batteries for it. Is makita just as good as dewalt?

On some bases, the base commander's have decided that the Exchange has to stay competitive with the local businesses.... including gasoline sales. Thus, the prices are not always that low, but at least there is no sales tax.... not yet. Anyone that has been deployed knows the prices are often a lot cheaper when away from the domestic bureaucrat BS.
