It says, you have the option to store it on an Sd card or subscription based for cloud storage.

Reolink = good

Non-replaceable battery model = bad

I use Argus 2s for our property and it works great without a subscription and has separate battery packs. There's at least one more that does as well I think it's Argus Pro?

I use reolink @1080p and its pretty good. Like all other Chinese devices, i would never have them able to access the internet for fear of being spied on.

I had this camera. Setup was easy and running it with solar was awesome...

... but...

You can't integrate this with Blue Iris or get access to the video stream for saving images or video elsewhere. I really wanted to use this as a "sky cam" and do time lapses of clouds. Couldn't find a way to do it without subscribing to Reolink... and even then it wasn't clear I could grab the image frames to do what I wanted. Sold it.

Subscription is only needed if you want to store your files on their Cloud. I have about 8 Reolink cameras and they work great. The app is very user friendly and make installation a breeze. No matter the model cam if its Reolink it integrates with the app seamlessly.
