    Maxtor 200GB 7200RPM 8MB OneTouch External 5000DV USB/Firewi

    Maxtor 200GB 7200RPM 8MB OneTouch External 5000DV USB/Firewire, $235.26 @ Staples

    USB/Firewire @ Staples for $399.98

PM to Dell which has it on sale for $322.96

    $399.98 - $322.96 = $77.02 X 110% = $84.72

    $399.98 - $84.72 = $315.26 - $30/$150 coupon = $285.26 - $50 Rebate = $235.26

    eBay value - $325.00

You can make this deal better by finding and using a 40/200, 50/200, or a 50/300 coupon.

How do you get this PM?

On the Staples Price Match Policy page (http://www.staples.com/content/Help/Using/general_match.asp), they have this to say:

Available coupons and rebates will be deducted from the Staples price to come up with a net Staples price when calculating the price match. For example, if you buy an item from us for $100, and we offer a $20 rebate, the net price is $80. If the item is available from another company for $80 or more, there will be no price match. Another example would be if you buy an item from us for $159 and you have a $30 coupon the net price is $129. If the item is available from another company for $125, the price match will be for $4.40 (110% of the difference).
So wouldn't it be $399.98 - $30/$150 coupon - $50 rebate = $319.98 from staples? And this is lower than $322.96 from Dell, so how do you get it for $285.26?

I have no idea what their price is; I was just using your original posting as an example, but applying the "rebate & coupon" rule from their price match policy.... just trying to get clarification on how your original deal was supposed to work if they deduct the coupon & rebate from thier price before the PM.
